Wooli Duo’s debut, self-titled album, "WOOLI," present nine compositions the duo has been working on for the past three years. The album was recorded and mixed at Epidemin Studio in Gothenburg between December 2024 and May 2025, in collaboration with engineer Johannes Lundberg.

 

The sessions were carried out in a live recording setting, with the duo performing their compositions together in real time. With the exception of Human Voice, minimal overdubs and studio enhancements were applied, reflecting the duo's intention to capture the authenticity and immediacy of their live concert sound.

The album also features the Italian organetto player Simone Bottasso, known for his work with Duo Bottasso, and the award winning South Korean bassist dongyi.
